About the book
In 2006, continuous attempts of bullying by my teacher resulted in clinical depression. 14 years later and still healing from the harrowing experience, I thought of writing my story hoping it would help parents guide and support their young children going through similar circumstances or instances hoping that they will be able to get a glimpse into how much their teachers’ words and actions affect a child’s malleable mind.

What They’re Saying About The Book
So sorry for your experience. But it’s so brave of you to put it up there. Just made me remind myself my experience and made me see how I’ve grown. May this be a great reminder for all those people out there thinking they’re alone that they are not. Hope you’ve outgrown from this. Bullying needs to be addressed and what a great way this is. Great work 👏 ❤️
It was such a nice write up Abi 👏❤️ I was reading, imagining everything as I read aaand onto the last page found myself crying! So happy how you’ve grown up to be a really lovely lady with all that happened♥️
I've read that book. Good writing. Easy to understand and at the same time it is going in a smooth flow. It's really awful to have such experiences. Good to know that you're moving on past it and recovering from it. students at school, students bully each other, then bullying / ragging at universities by senior students, teachers are being produced in the same universities, it is continuing in a cycle.
Thank you so much for sharing your story Abhi❤️ I know you've grown into this amazing woman now despite everything and once again thank you for inspiring others🙌❤️ Experiences like this have to be brought to light and hence break the stigma👏
It's very thoughtful of you to share your story, so that it'll helps others. I am so sorry you had to go through this but yes here you are, strong and beautiful and yes, teachers being rude with kids will defa affect them. Sometimes physical most of the time mental, even combination of both. You did a great job on writing the book and sharing your story @abisheka.c 👏🔥 I just love it, I recalled incident that happened in my school days, luckily I wasn't one of the victim but few of my friends were, just now shared the link to them to read it ❤️
Hey! Today I had time to read and I'm super proud of you for opening up and tell your side of stories about bullying. Even tho I'm a complete stranger you told me a bit about this before. I'm happy that you are being public about it! Stay safe!
I'm having a problem with reading books. 🙄 because I'm bored af. Believe me, I read your book and without skipping any phrases. While I'm reading the bleeding part I said "Ouch". You touched my heart ☹. I can understand your feelings. You're such a brave girl.
It's great, cuz it shows the amount of impact a teacher could make in someone's life (where the impact could be positive or negative) I have noticed many Sri Lankans casually ignore this impact. It's nice to see people open up❤️❤️ good job with the content and do continue writing 😍
This book gives a strong message to the society and it is such an effective method to break the stigma of mental health.I got to know about the huge number of people reached out to author after publishing this book. This is why the book is clearly an utter success👏Keep up the good work Abi,wishing you all the best❤🔥
